Your Role

The Global Product Manager High Pressure Gases is a key role in helping our customers in their transition to a low carbon economy. By introducing in the market break through compressors solutions and technologies in Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Biogas and others we will contribute to an overall positive impact in society. After the successful recent launches of many gas compressors, now it is time to bring the High-Pressure Gas business to the next exciting level of maturity, business harvest and new breakthrough innovations.

As global product manager you are responsible for the global results & you work in different directions:

  1. Create the best value proposition for end users, OEMs & EPCs.:
    • Define the right product strategy per region, the right price per country, the right sales channel per country, the right communication strategy per product range in line with OFA Division strategies.
    • Co-develop with other stakeholders the most appropriate end-user strategy to sell High Pressure gas products like Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Biogas and others.
    • Co-develop smart air solutions with other products and services to be able to sell total solutions packages.
    • Co-develop standard tools like PST, Airscan or other Audit measurements to support the equipment sales growth.
  2. Lead the Product marketing development for standard platforms and engineered solutions portfolio for air and gases equipment, in all Product Companies to foster a local for local strategy. Take the lead in writing the Master Specifications of new breakthrough products and portfolio extensions like H2, CO2, GG etc.
  3. Collaborate with the CTS Division that service strategy is suitable for the High-Pressure Gas business and helps the equipment to keep selling.
    • Revise spare parts and kits prices and sell them with the equipment when possible.
    • Make sure that Preventive Maintenance and Total Responsibility contract are in a healthy ratio with the equipment price in specific markets and help Customer Centers to implement this practice.
  4. Coordinate product marketing activities amongst the different Product Companies Product Managers with High Pressure products responsibilities including digital marketing.
  5. Develop training material based on application information, product description, product portfolio and commercial strategies, support an in-depth competition streetfighter in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  6. Train the HP Club members according to the train the trainer concept and in relation to what has been mentioned above.
  7. Collaborate in a constructive and positive way mainly (but not exclusively) with the HP, OFA & CTS stakeholders in:
    • Organization of HP Clubs & training forums
    • Product development and different projects
    • Service strategy
  8. Support in a constructive way other businesses within High pressure and potential acquisitions.
  9. Support the countries of responsibilities in the daily business.
  10. Help to create an environment of respect, trust, openness, diversity & inclusion, and stability for sustainable profitable growth in the High-Pressure community.

To succeed, you will need  

  • A balanced experience commercially and technically in Customer Centers and/or Product Companies
  • Engineering degree with compressors experience, if possible gas compressors, reciprocating, screws, turbos and High-pressure gas applications knowledge
  • Passionate and result oriented, both strategic and hands, who takes ownership on growing successfully the business in all sales channels.
  • Able to add value to a team of enthusiastic and competent colleagues, take initiative and lead others to a common target
  • As a team player, able to adapt, lead and cooperate with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders
