Your role

Your mission is to deliver skilled on-site service that keeps our customers’ equipment performing reliably and safely. You use your expertise to repair, maintain, and support the technology they depend on. Through your work, you help customers secure the uptime and performance they need to run their operations with confidence. You join the Customer Center Service team and report into the Operations Manager.

As a Field Service Engineer with Atlas Copco PTS, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing customer equipment performance across Vietnam. Your expertise will contribute directly to the reliability and efficiency of our products on-site, ensuring our clients receive timely and professional support. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in technical, sales, and project teams to deliver superior service and technical solutions tailored to customer needs.

Your day-to-day

Your daily responsibilities will be dynamic and client-focused. Upon arrival at each customer location, you will coordinate with responsible personnel to ensure all interventions are planned without disrupting their operations. You will execute maintenance and repair tasks using the correct tools and adhere strictly to safety standards. Your activities will include collecting necessary parts, conducting performance tests, monitoring equipment status, and documenting service outcomes meticulously.

Additionally, you will provide clear communication to customers regarding follow-up work and maintain the workspace’s cleanliness. Regular feedback to supervisors and teamwork with related departments will be key to ensuring continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of personal and shared tools and vehicles, representing Atlas Copco’s commitment to professionalism and quality.

Your skills and experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the engineering field, with a strong preference for those familiar with air compressor fundamentals and maintenance concepts.
• A bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to independently study technical manuals and produce clear, accurate service reports in English.
• Strong mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting capabilities are essential to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues effectively.
• Fluency in both English and Vietnamese is necessary to facilitate communication with customers, colleagues, and international teams.
