Join Us as HR Advisor Italy – Shape the People Experience Across Our Italian Customer Centres

Are you passionate about creating a great employee experience and driving meaningful HR impact? As our HR Advisor Italy, you’ll be the go‑to partner for around 60 colleagues across our Semiconductor and General Vacuum Customer Centres, delivering seamless support throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

This is a broad, hands‑on role where you’ll blend operational excellence with strategic partnership - based at our Edwards Vacuum site in Milan (hybrid working possible), you will work closely with HR Managers in Italy and across Europe to bring our people strategy to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Employee Lifecycle: Deliver hire‑to‑retire HR support, oversee onboarding/offboarding, run induction programmes, and track engagement through onboarding surveys.
• Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding: Manage recruitment activities, job postings, agency relationships, and contribute to employer branding initiatives in collaboration with Holding Italy.
• HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain accurate HR system data, support payroll and benefits administration, manage contracts and car fleet, ensure compliance with local labour laws, produce monthly reporting, and liaise with works councils when needed.
• Employee Engagement & Development: Coordinate local training, support performance processes, champion engagement initiatives, and advise managers on HR policies and employee relations matters.
• Communication & Collaboration: Maintain People & Culture SharePoint content, share market insights, collaborate with European and Holding Italy HR teams, and contribute to annual

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Strong knowledge of Italian labour law and HR compliance.
• Hands‑on experience across HR operations, recruitment, and payroll.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• English and Italian language

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Edwards Vacuum site in Milan, Italy.
