Senior Software Engineer

Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement backend services and integration components that form the backbone of our enterprise applications. You will work closely with the Technical Lead and Architects to shape solutions, review designs, and drive consistent engineering practices across teams. Collaborating with experienced front-end developers, you work on full solutions rather than individual tasks in isolation, contributing to end‑to‑end product functionality.

You will operate in a multinational environment with diverse stakeholders and contribute to systems where reliability, maintainability, and long-term quality matter. You will explore meaningful applications of GenAI where they provide clear value for improving operational efficiency across the business.

What You Will Work On

• Backend services and APIs for core enterprise systems (e.g., product information management, ERP and e‑commerce integrations, modern workflow automations)
• Event driven integrations of different platforms
• Highly reliable components with long operational lifetimes and strict quality expectations

• Continuous improvement of development workflows, architecture, and engineering guidelines
• Contribution to GenAI use cases such as RAG-based information retrieval or vector search
• Experience implementing knowledge graph solutions is a plusYour Responsibilities

Engineering & Architecture

• Design, implement and own backend services and REST APIs using modern .NET.
• Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Architects to shape solution architectures and technology decisions
• Apply clean code principles, automated testing, and robust documentation
• Contribute to long‑term system maintainability and reliability

AI‑Enhanced Development

• Help the team adopt AI‑supported development practices effectively
• Provide guidance to less experienced developers

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Work closely with engineers across multiple countries and cultures
• Mentor junior developers on technical topics and engineering standards
• Review code, share knowledge, and support a strong engineering culture
• Partner with product and domain experts to clarify requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions

To succeed, you will need:

Required

• Education: Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent 
• 6–10+ years of professional experience in backend/software engineering
• Strong expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web API
• Solid experience with Azure App Services, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB, CosmosDB, and PostgreSQL
• Proficient in using AI coding tools and motivated to advance their use across the team
• Comfortable working in large, international environments
• Comfortable working in a highly agile and innovative environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with the product development lifecycle
• Experience working in agile product development environments
• Functional analysis skills and experience (Use cases, UML) are an asset 
• Experience with vector databases or embeddings
• Familiarity with GenAI/RAG/Knowledge Graph architectures
• Experience with other programming languages like Node.js, Python, Typescript
