Instructional Designer
As a Intstructional Designer, your mission is to be primarily focused on content creation for products used in semiconductor manufacturing processes and related technologies.
A significant part of our target audience is formed by employees providing service to these products.
Their learning needs range from attaining a basic understanding of the product, through carrying out routine service tasks, to becoming experts capable of resolving complex technical issues.
To support all their learning needs, our solutions are a blend of highly interactive and engaging eLearning modules, step-by-step instructional videos, as well as content for instructor-led training courses.
The technical nature of our training solutions requires close collaboration with product development teams and other subject-matter experts.
You will report to Global Technical Training Manager.
- Understand and work with product technical documentation (schematics, 3D models, service procedures, etc.)
- Work with Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Convert expert information into a learner-friendly format
- Develop interactive & highly engaging eLearning contents
- Create and process different types of media assets (video, pictures, text, 3D)
- Develop instructions for trainers to help them deliver your course
- Develop assessments that validate learners’ competencies
- Work with Product companies to ensure training materials are designed and developed in line with the Product Commercialisation process (PCP) and the associated gate completion deadlines

- Be skilled in using an eLearning authoring tool_articulate 360 (Rise 360 or Storyline 360), MS VISIO and Office 365 tools (especially Powerpoint)
- Be skilled in creating training media (pictures, video shooting and editing, 3D)
- Familiar with segmenting and organising complex information into a learner-friendly format
- Able to plan & manage workload to make sure projects are delivered on time & to the agreed quality standard
- Effectively develop and maintain strong SME and stakeholder networks
- Have experience with mechanical & electrical engineering (experience with vacuum and/or abatement Solutions - preferred
Job location
This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Bundang, S. Korea.
(Flexible depending on work environment and place of residence)
