Operational Buyer

Your role

As a Operational Buyer , your mission is to [briefly describe the main mission]. You will report to [Supply Operations Manager ].

You will

• Execute daily operational purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-up
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods/services to meet business requirements
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (supply chain, production, finance, etc.) to align on demand and priorities
• Manage supplier communication, including order confirmation, delivery schedules, and issue resolution
• Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing data in SAP (e.g., purchase orders, vendor master data, pricing)
• Identify and resolve operational issues proactively to minimize supply disruptions
• Support compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Participate in business travel (approx. 25%) for supplier visits, audits, or internal coordination

You have X - X years of experience, working as a XY

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational buying or procurement within a similar industry
• Strong hands-on experience working with SAP (MM module or equivalent)
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end purchasing activities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with supplier management and logistics processes
• Experience working in multinational or structured procurement environments is a plus
