Mission

This is a great opportunity if you want to work in an entrepreneurial environment and like challenging mission. We are looking for a Production Team Leader, who can contribute to the ambitious growth of our CPD division business in China.

 

You have the responsibility in this role to ensure the project delivery meets the targets of lead time, cost, and quality. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. You will have opportunities to learn, to share & to work in close collaboration with our Purchasing, Engineering and Project teams.

 

Major responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Liaise with other departments to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Supervise lean production line to ensure production orders are completed on a timely basis
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Monitor production and solve issues.
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel
  • Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures, schedule regular maintenance
  • Submit reports on performance and progress
  • Overseeing basic operations, such as receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance of products
  • Take charge of stock control and warehouse organization
  • Safeguards warehouse operations by complying with extensive security procedures and protocols
  • Oversee and coach employees
  • Lead / participate in continuous improvement activities, Lean/Cost Reduction initiatives
  • Ensure that Team Member SPQP (safety, people, quality, productivity) needs are met
  • Other tasks to be assigned by the manager.

Education

 

  • College education or above.

 

Experience

  • The successful candidate should have relevant working experience in the field of lean manufacturing assembly.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and motivate others to achieve within the required timeframe
  • Detail oriented and a creative problem solver.
  • Achieve highest levels of internal and external customer service
  • Experience with Quality management is highly preferred

 

Knowledge

  • Mechanical, and electrical knowledge.
  • Workshop safety.

 

Skills

  • Competence with Microsoft, word, excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of Value stream mapping

 

 

Language

  • Good Communication in English by written & oral.
