Sourcing Engineer

Your role
- Responsible for Distribution Center suppliers’ performance improvement and monitor with regards to Quality, Cost, Delivery.
- Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance.
- Continuously drive CC7 saving targets for service spares.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with suppliers as the focal point of VTS purchasing.
- Accountable for leading or execution of assigned sourcing projects (localization, resourcing, direct purchasing, etc.).
- Manage the full lifecycle of spare parts and suppliers, from introduction and ramp-up, to obsolescence, actively seeking replacement technologies and solutions to ensure supply chain continuity and optimization. Growth Mindset & Initiative – takes ownership, seeks to learn new systems/tools.
- Work in close alignment with PCs to ensure divisional sourcing strategies support to balance supply continuity, cost efficiency, and material availability, while proactively addressing potential bottlenecks or supply risks.
- Collaboration – works cross-functionally with PC/DC/STC/CC/Division and builds trust with stakeholders.
- Conduct or support supplier negotiations, new supplier development, and supplier selection.
- Make or renew supplying contracts which can accommodate VTS business needs and strategy.
- Intimacy relationship with lead buyers to know their strategies and decisions of price, lead time, and allocation.
- Operate SAP system for data extraction and analysis.
- Other tasks that assigned for service requests.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Education Level:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain related fields.
Relevant Previous Experience:
- Procurement and Planning experience in a manufacturing company or a distribution center.
- Supplier Management and good knowledge on supplier relationship management, negotiation, commercial bargaining, etc.
- 5+ years of work experience in a fast paced, change oriented manufacturing or logistic environment.
- Project management experience.
