The role

Job Description
Your wide-ranging and exciting responsibilities cover:

1. Core Product Expertise

• Continuously growing expertise on the Desoutter products and solutions
• Provide technical expertise to CCs in Asia, being the main technical support expert for CPS by relying on PC technical support team based in France

• Answer technical questions from customers in Asia and deal with field-escalated quality issues.
• Analyzing product failures root causes from the field
• Contributing to products design improvements both from a software and hardware views
• Compose technical documentation and bulletins on products and features
• Contributing to the highest uptime for our Customers by failures analysis.
• Provide expert knowledge on the Desoutter high end electric tightening products, within an IOT/IOE Environment.
• Deliver training to service technicians if necessary.

• Be the “hinge” between PC technical support team and Asian support and service teams

2. Advanced Customer Support

• Support to the marketing and sales teams for advance sales activities
• Understanding the technical needs from our Asian customers
• Ensuring technical feedback from the customers to R&D
• Voice of the Customer activities
• Use the technical support activity to understand the needs, strengths and weaknesses of our asian customers, building a knowledge database
• Identify, analyze and report about the technical opportunities and challenges from the customers. • Support the pre-sales organization to bring technical R&D expertise.

This position requires some global travelling to customers in China, Japan, Korea and South East Asia, and regular travelling to France.

 

Skills and experience

• BSc in Electronics or Software

• Good communication in international environment
• 2-5 years' experience in technical support for presales, after sales or technical support
• Advanced technical competences (hardware, software, eventually mechanical)
• One Asian language (Chinese, Japanese, Korean), and a good level of English
