Your role

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Atlas Copco, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and managing key customer relationships within your assigned territory or segment. Reporting directly to the Zone Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, promoting our innovative industrial tools and assembly systems, and achieving defined sales targets.

Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting thorough SWOT analyses to map out competitive landscapes, market volumes, and customer insights. You will proactively engage with potential clients, organize and lead technical presentations, seminars, product demonstrations, and audits to understand and fulfill customer requirements effectively.

  • Collaborate closely with project teams and customers, analyzing applications to design tailored automation solutions that deliver tangible value and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the marketing team to contribute to market research and promotional campaigns, strategically positioning our products within the Industrial Technique sector.
  • Work alongside the service and finance departments to ensure seamless delivery, customer satisfaction, and efficient receivable management, optimizing overall business performance.
  • Build and nurture robust relationships with customers, distributors, and channel partners, actively managing distributor networks where applicable to expand market reach.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate sales reporting through Salesforce to support transparent communication and strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously develop your professional skills, technical knowledge, and interpersonal competencies to stay ahead in a dynamic market environment.

  • Education & Experience: A university degree in engineering or related field is essential, paired with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the industrial or machinery sectors. Experience with premium brand sales is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency in mechanical or electrical principles, key account management, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication is crucial. Strong PC skills are mandatory; proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, enhances your ability to collaborate in our global environment.
