Your future job

Your role

SIM (Serialized Information Management) is the central repository for all technical information linked to a specific machine serial number. It manages both “as-built” information from the product companies and “as-is” information that evolves throughout the equipment lifecycle through service interventions, upgrades, software updates, and documentation changes. SIM enables full traceability, improves data quality and consistency, and provides technicians, technical support engineers, and dealers with easy access to the right technical information through front-end applications such as TRAX.

As Project Leader SIM, you are accountable for the overall vision, roadmap, governance, and successful delivery of the SIM platform. You act as the business owner of the application and ensure that SIM continues to evolve into the strategic foundation for machine information, technical documentation, software information, and other equipment data throughout the entire equipment lifecycle.
In this role, you work closely with back-end SIM database developers, front-end developers of TRAX, process owners from the product companies, and process owners within the division.

As the business process owner of the SIM application, you define its strategic vision and ensure alignment with the division’s digitalization and service strategy. You take ownership of the current SIM roadmap, driving planned features and developments to successful delivery while ensuring business adoption.

Working closely with stakeholders from Engineering, Product Companies, IT, and other divisions or departments, you define and develop the future roadmap for the platform. You establish strong partnerships with Product Companies to guarantee that high-quality, complete, and accurate data flows into SIM and meets the needs of service organizations worldwide.

You collaborate with the TRAX team to provide technicians, technical support engineers, and other end users with an intuitive and efficient user experience. At the same time, you safeguard the long-term architecture and data model of SIM, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and future-proof integration with other digital platforms.

Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT development teams, you translate business needs into clear functional specifications and priorities. You manage stakeholders at all levels, build consensus around priorities, scope, and strategic direction, and ensure that business objectives are effectively translated into technical solutions.

In addition, you are willing to take ownership of other operational applications when SIM development activities decrease, ensuring continued contribution to the division’s digital landscape and operational excellence.
