Your Role
1.Work with related team to set up or optimize production line, include review and improve manufacturing process, product drawings, technical specifications, BOM and routing, PFMEA, quality control plan, layout, etc.
2. Take lead to ensure the effectiveness and sufficiency on machining manufacturing process for pumps parts.
3.Take lead to understand the technical requirements and product specifications and work out the SOP/WI for products manufacturing.
4.Take lead to monitor the manufacturing process capability, identify process risks and issues, analysis and fix the manufacturing process risks/issues quickly.
5. Make and optimize programs for CNC machines, especially for horizontal machining center, turning and CNC cylindrical grinder etc.
6.Design fixtures for parts machining.
7.Design and optimize process routing for new product and transferred products.
8.Operating CNC and turning machine to validate the CNC program, fixture, tooling for new machined parts.
9.Optimize process to get safer process, higher productivity and lower cost.
10.Take lead to develop and promote continuous improvement process, to get effective productivity improvement by train and push operators involving in improvement activities on manufacturing process.
11.Introduce poka-yoke into process, including mechanical and digital approaches.
12.Take lead on designing and optimizing layout for machining lines, according to Lean production concepts.
13.To assess the safety risk during machining process, improve the process or fixture, tools, etc. to ensure safe production.
14.To liaise with related teams to facilitate the smooth introduction of products and apply processes to the cell in order to meet safety, quality, cycle time and cost targets.
To succeed, you will need
- Education level: Bachelor or above
- Relevant Previous experience
- Has machining knowledge background is preferred.
- Master mechanical and electrical principles in pumps, compressors, engines, motors area.
- Be familiar with automatic control machines, such as CNC machines and PLC controlled machines.
- Experience in safety, lean production, advanced manufacturing (eg, digitalization in process) in workshop is preferred.
- Experience in leading manufacturing process improvement/ quality improvement and other improvement projects through multi-department teams is preferred.
- Knowledge areas/Skills
Good at 2D/3D software, such as CAD, Solidworks, Pro/E, Inventor etc. .
- Other requirements
- Good communication skills, can communicate in both Chinese and English. Excellent logical thinking ability.Clear understanding and application of modern manufacturing techniques, specifically: material flow; ERP, Lean method, production line concept design and layout details design, etc.
- Well understand and interpret product drawings, structures, technology requirements in English, and work out SOP, communicate these effectively across a broad range of people.
Broad understanding/appreciation of key process and operational areas (eg. quality, production engineering, ta).
